Revile is a verb. When you revile someone, you attack someone with abusive language.

Eschew is a verb. It means to avoid something deliberately.

Intractable is an adjective. It means that someone or something is difficult to manage, govern or alleviate.
"Despite John's intractable pain, he smiled and feigned happiness."
"Intractable teenagers are sent to boot camp for rehabilitation."
Tractable is an adjective. It means the person or animal is easily controlled or managed.
"The new employee was tractable; therefore, his supervisor lauded him."
"Some dog breeds are more tractable than others."
Derogate is a verb. If you derogate someone, you belittle or disparage that person.
